JSD STEM Fair Winners

STEM Winners Monte Vista students showed their expertise at the JSD Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Fair held February 21st at Daybreak Elementary. Winners from our school include Kaden Taufer for "Rotten Teeth," Kimmie Huntsman for "Which Gum Brand Lasts Longest," Alexis Carr for "Don't Cry over Spilled Milk," Brian Nielsen and Caleb Scott for "How Do Multiple Washings Affect the Flame Resistance of Sleepwear?" Audrey Carson for "The Candle Championship," Addison Campbell for "The School Parking Lot: The Hidden Dangers," Jaron Hall for "I'll Huff and I'll Puff!" Malia Scott and Brynlee Warren for "Parachute Materials and Air Resistance" and Alyson ORdyna for "How Much Weight Will My Boat Hold and Still Float?" These students received awards at South Jordan Middle School on February 26th.

The next step will be competing at the Central Utah STEM fair on March 28 at BYU. Best of luck!
